Antivirus Smadav Rev. 8.1 has been released

Finally, on March 6, 2010 Smadav.Net has been released antivirus Smadav Rev. 8.1. antivirus Smadav Rev. 8.1 is upgrading from previous versions of antivirus Smadav Rev. 8.0. This antivirus can be used on PC / laptop that using OS Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7.



Antivirus Smadav Rev. 8.1 made using C++ language, different from previous versions created using VB (Visual Basic). Physically, there are some files that are included in this antivirus namely: SmadEngine.dll, Smadav.loov, and SmadExtc.dll. Each additional file have different uses. SmadEngine.dll is an engine scanner that can detect / find the virus quickly and precisely. Smadav.loov is an external database that allows users to update the database in the next version. And SmadExtc.dll is a plugin using for right-click scan on the windows explorer.



Antivirus Smadav Rev. 8.1 equipped with uninstall menu in its tray icon. Users can uninstall the program directly without go to control panel, simply right-click the Smadav tray icon and then click Uninstall.
